In our recent blog post we reported on the July 18, 2013 Notice of Intent to File a Citizen Suit against Waste Treatment Corporation (WTC), a centralized waste treatment facility operator. Today, Clean Water Action filed the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania alleging that WTC continues to illegally discharge oil and gas drilling wastewater into the Allegheny River in Warren, PA. We will continue to follow this case as more information is available.
